Verdict up front: this app sells buy and sell instructions on gold and oil — two of the most heavily leveraged instruments retail traders touch. Its customer service desk is a UK mobile number on WhatsApp. There is no company on the listing, no address, no licence, and not one named analyst behind the signals.
Trade Gold And Oil Signals is published by Market Alerts. On the day we checked it showed 5,000+ downloads, no rating and no reviews, filed under Finance, last updated 10 March 2026.
The support line is a mobile phone
From the store listing
“💬 WhatsApp support for traders: Available inside the app or via WhatsApp: +44 7868141993… With 24/7 support and a reliable signal system, you can trade gold with confidence and clarity, knowing expert-level insights are always at your fingertips.”
A +44 7 prefix is a UK mobile. Not a landline, not a company switchboard — a handset.
That is worth stating plainly because of what it implies about recourse. A mobile number can be changed in an afternoon and cannot be traced to a registered business. There is no company behind it that can be searched at Companies House, no address that can be visited, and no regulator that can be complained to.
It is also the second UK mobile we have found serving as a trading desk in this batch. A different developer account, running a different app, uses the same arrangement.
Why gold and oil, specifically
The instruments are not incidental. XAUUSD — gold against the dollar — and oil are among the most volatile and most heavily leveraged products offered to retail traders. Small moves produce large swings in a margined account, in both directions.
That makes them the ideal product for a signals service. Wins are dramatic enough to screenshot. Losses arrive fast enough that a user blames their own execution rather than the signal. And the account that gets wiped out does so in hours, long before anyone has assembled a pattern.
The listing leans into exactly that: “trade gold like the experts”, “designed to boost your performance”, “take advantage of the best gold trading opportunities”, “high-probability setups”.
The experts are never named
The description refers to expert-level insights, advanced AI analysis and a system that “continuously scans charts, trends, and market movements”.
Read it again for a name. There is no analyst, no trader, no firm, no team page, no track record, no sample of past calls, no win rate, and no dates. The word “expert” is doing all of the work and none of it is attributable to anybody.
The same developer’s other app, Forex AI Pro Trader, advertises a 95% success rate and claims compliance with ESMA and FCA marketing rules. This listing makes neither claim. One operator, two products, two entirely different postures on regulation — which tells you the posture is a marketing choice rather than a fact about the business.
Five thousand installs, nothing back
There is no Ratings and reviews section on this page. Five thousand people installed a service that issues live entry, stop and target levels on gold, and not one has reported whether those levels worked.
For a product whose only value is accuracy, that silence is the entire available evidence base. A prospective user cannot find out how it performs before trusting it with a position, and the operator has published nothing that would let them.
Signals are pushed “directly to your phone, WhatsApp, or trading platform” — that last route meaning straight onto a live account.

Package com.goldsignal.app, publisher Market Alerts · 5,000+ installs, no rating, no reviews · support desk is the UK mobile number +44 7868141993 on WhatsApp · issues entry, stop-loss and take-profit levels on XAUUSD gold and oil · names no company, address, licence, analyst or track record · signals can be sent straight to a trading platform · sibling app advertises a 95% success rate and ESMA/FCA compliance; this one claims neither.
Operators who cannot be traced once the money is gone are the reason this site exists — see Pantera Prime, whose address was a street in the wrong country, and the fake Pepperstone with six phone numbers and an invented postcode.
What to check before you act on a gold signal
- Find the company. A legitimate signal provider names an entity you can look up. A mobile number is not an entity.
- Ask for the last thirty calls with timestamps taken before the outcome. Screenshots after the fact prove nothing.
- Never allow signals to execute directly on a live account from a provider you cannot identify.
- Size positions as though every signal will lose. On XAUUSD, one oversized trade is enough.
