Verdict up front: ingots.io, trading as Ingots
International, leads with “Trade Smarter: Earn Average 94.9% p.a. in Just 5
Minutes”. The Securities Commission Malaysia has it on its Investor
Alert List. Its domain was registered on 2 November 2023 and
expires on 2 November 2026 — about five weeks from now.
Key facts — checked 24 September 2026
Website: ingots.io · Advertised return: average 94.9% a year · Domain registered: 2 November 2023 · Domain expires: 2 November 2026 · Regulator: Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List
A number on the front door
94.9% a year is the first thing the site says, and it is presented as an
average rather than a best case — which is a stronger claim, not a softer one.
An average is what you should expect. The figure carries an asterisk pointing to a disclaimer, the
standard arrangement in which the headline does the selling and the small print does the retracting.
For scale: a return of that order, sustained, would roughly double capital every year and would make
the operation one of the best-performing financial businesses on earth.
What is actually being sold
The product is described as “dual assets” —
“Pick your desired contract and earn daily”, with
“No transaction fees. No managers. Control is in your hands.” A dual-asset
contract is a real instrument: you are paid a yield and, if the market moves the wrong way, you are
repaid in the asset that fell rather than the one you put in. The yield is the premium on an option
you have sold. It is not income; it is payment for taking a loss you have agreed in advance to
accept. Quoted as an annualised percentage on a five-minute contract, that premium becomes a very
large-looking number with no bearing on what a customer ends up holding.
Five weeks of registration left
The domain record shows a registration term ending 2 November 2026. Domains are
routinely renewed and an expiry date is not on its own a finding — but it is worth knowing when
the platform holding your capital has five weeks left on the only address it has. The site is
otherwise plainly active: its announcements list a referral scheme, a Solana listing, a new swap
feature and a compulsory Android app update, so this is a running operation rather than an abandoned
shell.

How to check a crypto yield platform
Start with the return. Ask what generates it, and do not accept “trading” as an answer
— a dual-asset product pays you for selling an option, and you should be told that plainly. Then
ask who is licensed, and check that regulator’s register together with its alert lists. Look up
the domain’s registration date and term. And never let a stated average stand in for a
disclosed risk.
Our view: a platform leading with an average annual return near 95 percent from
five-minute contracts, naming no regulator, and carried on Malaysia’s Investor Alert List. Do
not deposit.
