Verdict up front: ETH Miner – Ethereum Cloud Mine displays a “Pool Earnest Amount” of 31 Satoshi on an app about Ethereum — a satoshi is a unit of Bitcoin, not Ether. It sets a minimum withdrawal of 0.5 ETH. Do not spend money in it.

The unit that does not belong
One screen in this app reads Pool Earnest Amount: 31 Satoshi. A satoshi is one hundred-millionth of a Bitcoin. It is not a unit of Ether and never has been. An app that actually pointed hashrate at an Ethereum pool would report in ETH, gwei or wei, because those are the units the network uses.
A number in the wrong currency means the display is decorative. Whatever the counter is incrementing, it is not tracking a share of a real pool.
Ethereum cannot be mined
This is not a matter of opinion. In September 2022 Ethereum completed the Merge and switched from proof of work to proof of stake. Mining ended that day. Every app advertising Ethereum cloud mining since then is selling a service the network no longer has.
⚠ Verified evidence — checked 23 September 2026
- A screen reads “Pool Earnest Amount: 31 Satoshi” — a Bitcoin unit inside an Ethereum mining app.
- The minimum withdrawal is 0.5 ETH, worth roughly a thousand dollars at the price the app itself displays.
- A dashboard shows “Current ETH Price $2244.8799” — a real market figure with no relation to any user balance.
- Marketing frames show Antminer L7, S19 and S21 rigs — all of which are Bitcoin and Litecoin machines that cannot mine Ethereum.
- Ethereum stopped being mineable in September 2022 when it moved to proof of stake.
The hardware in the pictures
The marketing frames show Bitmain Antminer L7, S19 and S21 units. These are ASICs — the L7 for Scrypt (Litecoin and Dogecoin), the S19 and S21 for SHA-256 (Bitcoin). None of them could ever mine Ethereum, which used a memory-hard algorithm designed specifically to resist ASICs. The photographs were chosen because rows of machines look industrial, not because they relate to the product.
The withdrawal floor
Minimum withdrawal: 0.5 ETH. Using the app’s own displayed price of $2,244.88, that is roughly $1,122. This is the mechanism the whole genre runs on. The counter ticks up in tiny increments, ad views accumulate, upgrades promise faster accrual — and the threshold sits far enough above what any user will reach that the payout never has to happen.
The price ticker
“Current ETH Price $2244.8799”. It is a real, verifiable figure, pulled from a market feed, and it has nothing to do with what any user holds. It is there because a true number makes the invented numbers beside it feel true too.
Check it in one minute
Search the withdrawal minimum before you install, then work out how long the app’s own advertised rate would take to reach it. If the answer is years, the threshold is the product.
Our view: ETH Miner reports Bitcoin units on an Ethereum app, shows Bitcoin hardware, sells mining of a network that cannot be mined, and sets a 0.5 ETH withdrawal floor. Avoid it.
