The promise
The homepage is a four-slide carousel. The first slide reads EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS, then in large type: OUR EXPERTS HELP YOU TRADE PROFITABLY, then START TRADING NOW. The menu runs Main, Accounts, Platform, Markets, Stocks, Forex, Indices, Commodities, About Company, Support, FAQ, Legal Information, Analytics.
Why that sentence is the story
“Help you trade profitably” is a performance promise. In every major regulated market a firm making one must be able to evidence it and must carry a risk warning beside it. In the EU a retail CFD provider has to publish the percentage of its client accounts that lose money — typically 70 to 80 per cent, even at the best firms — precisely so a headline like this cannot stand alone.
The sentence is not a wild exaggeration. It is a regulated claim, made by an operation that is not regulated.

“Legal Information”
There is a menu item with that name, which is a nice touch on a blacklisted site. A legal-information page carries weight only when it contains three things: the legal entity, its registration number, and its regulator with a licence reference. Anything else — terms of use, a risk disclaimer, a privacy policy — is text the operator wrote about itself and can change tonight.
The .cc
hwinvest.cc uses the Cocos Islands territorial TLD, sold cheaply worldwide. There is nothing wrong with the extension, and plenty of legitimate sites use it. It is worth noticing only alongside everything else: a ten-month-old registration, a discount TLD, a profit guarantee, no company and no licence. Individually, weak signals. Together, one picture.
How to check a broker in two minutes
Search the name on the AMF blacklist at amf-france.org and in the register at regafi.fr. Then open the Legal Information page and look for a company number and a licence reference. If neither is there, the page is decoration.
