CloudMineX Review – What We Found Before You Pay

CloudMineX Mining App listing on Google Play flagged by Cyanosoft

Verdict up front: CloudMineX sells remote Bitcoin mining to a large audience and carries a high store rating. Neither of those things tells you whether the mining is real. We looked for the operator, the hardware and the payout record, and found none of the three.

Key facts — checked 25 September 2026

Package name: com.cloudminex.app · Listed developer: TellSkynnerjv · Installs: 100,000 plus · Store rating: 4.4 from 3,820 ratings · What it sells: Paid cloud mining plans

A high rating is not verification

A 4.4 average from several thousand ratings feels like reassurance. It is not, and understanding why matters more on this app than the detail of its plans.

Store ratings measure how users feel while they are using an app. On a mining app, most users are in the stage where a balance is climbing and nothing has gone wrong yet. They have paid, they can see a number going up, and they rate it well. The users who discover a problem do so weeks later, at the withdrawal, and many of them never return to change the rating they already left.

The rating therefore reflects the deposit experience, not the payout experience. On this category of app the average is close to meaningless, and the only reviews carrying information are the recent low ones, which is where the withdrawal reports sit.

Who is TellSkynnerjv

The developer name is the thread worth pulling. A company operating mining hardware has a corporate existence. It is registered somewhere, it has a registered office, it has directors, it files accounts, and it has a relationship with an electricity supplier and a data centre.

We searched company registries and the open web for TellSkynnerjv and found no registration, no address, no named individual and no trading history. The name appears in the app listing and in pages that promote the app. Nowhere else.

That absence is the finding. Buying a mining contract means entering an agreement with whoever is on the other side. If you cannot identify them, you have no agreement and no recourse. There is nobody to complain to, no regulator with jurisdiction, and no court that can be pointed at a named defendant.

⚠ Verified evidence — checked 25 September 2026

  • No company registration traced for TellSkynnerjv
  • Hashrate tiers advertised in the store graphics, but no pool account to verify them against
  • No mining pool account or payout address disclosed
  • Returns presented as fixed, which genuine mining cannot promise
  • High store average driven by deposit-stage users, not completed payouts

What a real contract would show you

It is worth knowing what genuine cloud mining looks like, because the gap is obvious once you have seen it. A real contract specifies the hashrate you are renting, in terahashes. It states the maintenance fee, which covers electricity and is deducted from your share. It names the pool the hardware mines into. It gives you an account you can inspect.

Your return then varies, because it must. It rises when the Bitcoin price rises and falls when mining difficulty climbs. Genuine operators publish that variability, because hiding it would be misleading.

CloudMineX provides part of that and not the rest. Its store graphics do advertise hashrate tiers, with a Rent Your Powerhouse screen offering rates such as 100 GH per second, 300 GH per second and 1000 GH per second, so a number is attached to what you buy. What is missing is everything that would let you verify it. No pool account is named, so the hashrate cannot be checked against any real mining. No maintenance fee is stated, which every genuine contract carries because electricity has to be paid for. No facility is identified. A hashrate figure with no pool behind it is a price list, not a contract, and it is the verification rather than the number that is absent here.

If you have already paid

Stop depositing, and in particular refuse any fee presented as a step towards withdrawal. The fee-to-withdraw request is the point at which a loss that has happened becomes a larger loss.

Record what you can while the app still works. Take screenshots of your balance, of the plan you bought, of the developer details on the listing and of every payment you made. If you paid through a card or a regulated payment service, contact that provider quickly and ask about a chargeback, because time limits apply and they are short.

If you paid by crypto transfer, note the transaction hashes and the receiving addresses. Recovery is hard and often impossible, but those hashes are the only material that makes any attempt possible at all. Be aware that recovery services which approach you after a loss are frequently a second scam aimed at the same victim.

Our view: CloudMineX charges for mining we cannot confirm takes place, on behalf of an operator we cannot identify. The install count and the rating are not evidence in its favour. Do not buy a plan, and if you already have, stop and do not pay a withdrawal fee.
