Verdict up front: Brighton Wealth (brwealth.io) targets Australians’ retirement savings: it offers to let you trade crypto, forex and CFDs “through your Self-Managed Super Fund” and calls itself “ATO compliant”. ASIC put it on its investor alert list on 25 September 2026, published on IOSCO’s I-SCAN. Do not move super into it.

Aimed at your super
A whole section is headed “SMSF Trading for Your Retirement”: “Maximize your retirement savings by trading over 200 worldwide assets through your Self-Managed Super Fund”, with “asset protection”, “complete control” and a badge reading “ATO Compliant”. The Australian Taxation Office regulates SMSFs as funds; it does not approve trading platforms. Any business dealing in financial products with Australians needs an ASIC licence, and Brighton Wealth names none.

Template leftovers
The beginner FAQ says “At Brand Name, for example, we’ve designed our interface specifically with beginners in mind” — the placeholder was never replaced. The footer reads “© 2024. All Rights Reserved. Powered by Unlimited.” on a domain registered on 2 July 2026. The risk disclaimer states that “the Company acts as the counterparty in all transactions” — meaning your losses are its gains.
⚠ Verified evidence
- ASIC listed Brighton Wealth (brwealth.io) on 25 September 2026 (IOSCO I-SCAN).
- brwealth.io was registered on 2 July 2026, but the footer says © 2024.
- It pitches SMSF trading in crypto and CFDs and claims to be “ATO Compliant”.
- Its FAQ still contains the template placeholder “Brand Name”.
- It says it is the counterparty to every trade.
Before moving retirement money
Search any platform on ASIC’s professional register and Moneysmart alert list, and ask your SMSF auditor before you transfer anything. Money that leaves a super fund into an unlicensed platform is very hard to recover.
The verdict: Brighton Wealth goes after Australians’ SMSFs with an unlicensed crypto and CFD platform, a template left half-finished, and an ASIC alert against it. Do not invest.
