Verdict up front: Coneex (coneex.com) trades as “CONEEX Markets Ltd” and prints the risk warning a regulated European CFD broker has to show — but names no regulator at all. The British Columbia Securities Commission flagged it on 14 September 2026. Do not deposit.

A borrowed risk warning
At the foot of the page: “CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 85.12% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider.”
That wording is the standard warning EU and UK regulators force licensed CFD brokers to publish, with their own loss figure. A firm that genuinely had to print it would also name its regulator and licence number. Coneex names neither.

Features from somewhere else
The homepage promises stock lending, “Crypto Gifts”, a self-custody “CONEEX Wallet” for NFTs and dapps, and a free fractional share for signing up — each with its own “disclosure” link. It reads like the feature list of a large US retail app, on a site whose only contact is a support address on another domain: support@coneexvip.com.
⚠ Verified evidence
- The British Columbia Securities Commission flagged Coneex (coneex.com) on 14 September 2026 (IOSCO I-SCAN).
- It prints an EU-style warning that 85.12% of retail accounts lose money, yet names no regulator.
- Operator given only as “CONEEX Markets Ltd” — no number, no country.
- Support email is on a different domain, coneexvip.com.
- coneex.com was registered on 9 June 2020.
What the app download means
Coneex pushes a “Download APP” link. Apps from unlicensed platforms are how balances are shown and withdrawals refused: the numbers on screen are whatever the operator types in.
How to check
Search the name at the BCSC and in the FCA register. Ask for a licence number and check it on the regulator’s own site. A real 85%-of-accounts-lose-money warning always comes with a real regulator.
The verdict: Coneex copies a regulated broker’s risk warning without having a regulator, lists an email on another domain, and has been flagged by the BCSC. Do not deposit.
