Miragetraders Scam — 1M Accounts and $211M a Month

Miragetraders flagged as scam broker

Verdict up front: Miragetraders (miragetraders.com) calls itself “the international Miragetraders broker” with more than 1 million trader accounts in 130+ countries. The British Columbia Securities Commission warned about it on 25 June 2026. The domain was registered on 5 July 2025 — about fifteen months ago.

Big numbers, no auditor

30 million monthly transactions, $16 million average monthly payouts and $211 million monthly turnover: figures on that scale would be reported in audited accounts and licence filings. Miragetraders names no company, no auditor and no regulator.

Mirror trading as bait

Copy trading lets you “mirror” supposedly successful traders. On unlicensed sites the traders’ records are invented, and the balance you see is a number in a database. Withdrawals then trigger fees and taxes.

The name says it

A mirage is something that looks real and is not. The site’s own tagline, “Profitability on the rise”, is all the substance on offer.

BCSC’s warning

BCSC added Miragetraders to its list in the same batch as several other template sites on 25 June 2026. The commission warns that such firms are not registered to trade or advise in British Columbia.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • BCSC warning, 25 June 2026.
  • Claims 1M+ accounts and $211M monthly turnover.
  • No company, licence or auditor named.
  • Domain about 15 months old.

How to check

Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute.

What to do if you paid Miragetraders

  • Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
  • Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
  • Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

The verdict: Miragetraders has the numbers of a giant and the paperwork of nobody. Do not deposit.
