iCloudFX Scam — New Owners, Geo-Block, CONSOB Order

iCloudFX scam broker warning

Verdict up front: iCloudFX (icloudfx.com) offers a web trader, mobile trader, spot and derivatives markets — and a sign-up for Australian self-managed super funds. Italy’s CONSOB put the site on its blackout list in October 2026. The current domain record was created on 5 March 2026 — about seven months ago.

A disclaimer about its own past

The site says it “is not affiliated with any previous services that operated under this domain prior to January 2026” and has “no connection to the previous ownerships”. Scam operators often buy expired domains that once belonged to real businesses, because old domains look trustworthy in search results. iCloudFX is telling you it is not who the address used to be.

Retirement savings as a target

An “SMSF Sign Up” menu targets Australians who run their own superannuation fund. Retirement savings are a favourite target of investment fraud because the sums are large.

Hidden from visitors

After loading, the site switches to “Sorry! This website is not available in your country”. Blocking visitors from some countries is a way to avoid regulators and researchers while still taking clients sent in by private link.

Italy acted

CONSOB orders providers to block unauthorised investment sites. iCloudFX is on its list.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • CONSOB blackout order, October 2026.
  • Disclaimer denying any link to the domain’s previous owners.
  • SMSF sign-up aimed at retirement savings.
  • Geo-block page shown to visitors.

How to check

Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute — and the regulator’s own register links back to the broker’s real website.

What to do if you paid iCloudFX

  • Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
  • Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
  • Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

The verdict: iCloudFX hides its history and its site, and Italy has ordered it blocked. Do not deposit — and never move super fund money on a stranger’s advice.
