PeMaxx — A Lapsed Licence and Another Firm in the Footer

PeMaxx — flagged scam broker

PeMaxx (pemaxx.com) presents itself as “Pemaxx Global”, an MT5 forex and CFD broker that is “an industry-leading force in the realm of forex trading”. The domain was first registered on 25 July 2022. The UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) listed it in a warning shared on IOSCO’s I-SCAN network on 16 June 2026.

PeMaxx and the licence that lapsed

A related company did once hold a licence. The Financial Services Commission of Mauritius register lists PEMAXX LIQUIDITY PROVIDER LIMITED as an Investment Dealer licensed on 27 June 2024, with the note “Licence Lapsed on 01 July 2025”. The website still takes clients more than a year later. It does not tell visitors that the licence has gone.

Four questions to ask PeMaxx first

  1. Ask PeMaxx which company will hold your account and quote its licence number.
  2. Ask why the footer names Easy way global limited.
  3. Ask why the Mauritius licence lapsed in July 2025.
  4. Ask which bank receives your transfer and in whose name.

Whose risk warning is this?

Scroll to the footer and the risk text names a different company: “Easy way global limited is not a financial advisor” and offers an “execution-only” service. A broker’s legal text should name the broker. When it names another business, you cannot tell who you are contracting with, or who holds your money.

The marketing is broad and vague. PeMaxx says it has “swiftly” become “a globally trusted partner” and offers “over 2,500 stock and fractional share CFDs, all with no commission fees”. The registered office it gives in Mauritius is Level 6 of the Ken Lee Building on Edith Cavell Street, Port Louis, and the Dubai office is a suite in CloverBay Tower, Business Bay. Neither address comes with a licence number from the FSC or from Dubai’s regulators.

The site turns away clients from North Korea, the United States and FATF black-listed countries, but not from the UAE, the country whose regulator issued the warning, or from EU states where it holds no passport.
