Black Diamond Private Wealth, known as BDPW (bdpw.io), asks you to lend it money. In return it promises your capital is “100% GUARANTEED by BDPW in writing” and talks about a return of 55% or 75%. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission flagged the site, and the alert reached IOSCO’s international alerts network on 24 September 2026.
Lending is now closed
A banner across the site says “LENDING IS NOW CLOSED”. If you have already lent money, that matters. Schemes often close the door to new money shortly before they stop paying out. It also creates pressure on the people still waiting: you may be told you can get in on a final round, or that payouts are delayed for “compliance”.
The site leans on trust. It calls itself family owned, shows six video testimonials that all praise the founder by first name, and lists several “Authorised Representatives” with Australian mobile numbers. None of that replaces a licence. In Australia, anyone offering a financial product must hold an Australian Financial Services Licence or act for someone who does. BDPW shows no AFSL. Even the footer still credits the free web template it was built from.
What to do if you are waiting on BDPW
- Do not send more crypto to secure or speed up a payout.
- Collect your agreement, emails, wallet transactions and the name of the representative you dealt with.
- Report to ASIC and to ReportCyber.

How the BDPW loan works
| BDPW says | What to know |
|---|---|
| Your money goes into a “Proprietary Indexed Fund” of about 40 cryptocurrencies | A crypto fund cannot guarantee your capital |
| “100% SAFE against loss” | Guarantees like this are banned for licensed advisers |
| Guaranteed 55% or 75% return, explained by appointment | Big numbers kept off the page |
| Paid only at the end of the term | Nothing comes back until it is too late to ask |
| Pay in Bitcoin or Ethereum to wallet addresses on the page | Crypto payments cannot be reversed |
| Head office in Port Vila, Vanuatu | Outside Australian protection |
