Nothing. Anyone who controls a domain can create support@ on it in under a minute. It is not a business registration, a licence or a physical presence, but it sits in the header doing the work of all three. A regulated broker publishes a registered office, a company number and a regulator’s reference, because those are the things a prospective client can check.

“Options” is not decorative. Binary options have been banned from sale to retail clients across the EU since 2018, and other option products are tightly restricted. A brand built on the word, marketed to French speakers, without a licence, is selling into a prohibition — which is one reason the AMF list exists.
What you give up
With an authorised broker your money sits in a segregated account at a real bank, the firm is audited, there is an ombudsman, and in some jurisdictions a compensation scheme. With an unauthorised one, your balance is a row in the operator’s database and the only person who can release it is the person who benefits from not releasing it.
How to check a broker in two minutes
Search the name on the AMF blacklist at amf-france.org and in the register at regafi.fr. Then send one email asking for the company name, the registered office and the licence number. A genuine firm replies with three checkable facts. Anything else — a brochure, a callback offer, a reassurance — is the answer.
