Universal Trade FX — A CNV Warning and a Frankfurt Postcode

Universal Trade FX — flagged scam broker

Argentina’s securities regulator, the Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV), has issued a warning about Universal Trade FX (universaltradefx.com). The alert was shared on IOSCO’s I-SCAN on 19 October 2026. The domain was registered on 28 February 2026.

Universal Trade FX targets Spanish speakers

The site is written in Spanish, with the slogan “Protege tu FUTURO FINANCIERO” (protect your financial future). It describes a trading dashboard with balances, pending orders and withdrawal history, and lists three steps: register, verify your identity, then fund your account.

That order matters. By the time a client has been asked to deposit, Universal Trade FX already holds a copy of their ID. Identity documents taken this way are often reused, or used to pressure victims later.

An address in Frankfurt with no street

The only address on the page is “FOUR, 60315 Frankfurt am Main, Alemania”. What the site leaves out says more:

  • ✗ No company name.
  • ✗ No licence or register number.
  • ✗ No telephone number; only support@universaltradefx.com.
  • ✗ No street, floor or office.

The address gives a building name and a postcode, but no street, floor or company. No German register entry is cited, and no German or Argentine licence is shown. A broker serving Argentine clients would need authorisation from the CNV; instead, the CNV has warned about it.

Before sending money to any broker in Argentina, check its name on the CNV’s register of authorised agents. Universal Trade FX does not give a company name you could even search for.

Universal Trade FX ends with a standard risk warning that leveraged trading “could result in the total loss of your investment”. That sentence is accurate. It is also the only part of the site that names a real risk; nothing else on the page tells you who holds your money.
