Verdict up front: Swiss Royal Capital presents itself as “a FINMA-regulated Swiss digital bank” offering guaranteed high-yield savings to people who do not live in Switzerland. FINMA has placed it on its warning list.

The pitch: a Swiss account without visiting Switzerland
“The Swiss bank for digital nomads” — and for expats and entrepreneurs. The site offers:
- a “contractually guaranteed” annual savings rate, with “no management fees, no conditions”;
- CHF 100,000 of deposit protection through the Swiss scheme esisuisse;
- an “AAA Swiss rating”;
- account opening in under 24 hours, from 50+ countries, with no need to travel.
The main call to action is not an application form. It is a “Request a callback” box asking for your name, phone number, email and country.
Deposit protection only covers real banks
The Swiss deposit guarantee applies to banks that FINMA has licensed. A firm on FINMA’s warning list is, by definition, not one FINMA recognises as authorised — so the CHF 100,000 promise has nothing behind it.
⚠ Verified evidence — checked 21 September 2026
- Swiss Royal Capital / swissroyalcapital.ch is on the Swiss FINMA warning list (added August 2026).
- The site calls itself “a FINMA-regulated Swiss digital bank”.
- It promises a contractually guaranteed savings rate and CHF 100,000 esisuisse protection.
- It targets non-residents only and leads with a phone callback form.
- A banner warns that it is “not affiliated with any similarly named entity”.
“Not affiliated with any similarly named entity”
Across the top of every page runs a yellow banner: “Stay vigilant. Swiss Royal Capital is not affiliated with any similarly named entity.” Real banks do not usually open with a disclaimer about lookalikes. The banner gets ahead of the one thing a careful visitor would do — search the name and find a warning — and frames that result as someone else.
How to check a Swiss investment site in two minutes
Search the name on FINMA’s own warning list at finma.ch, then search it in FINMA’s register of authorised institutions. A firm that says it is supervised by FINMA will be in the second list, not the first. Then look up when the website’s domain was registered and compare that with any history the site claims. Finally, never let a “specialist” or “personal manager” call you and walk you through a deposit.
Our view: Swiss Royal Capital sells bank-style safety it cannot provide, is on FINMA’s warning list, and wants to phone you. Do not request the callback and do not deposit.
