Verdict up front: Oxelvian sells an AI trading platform and puts its proof at the top of the page: 4.9 out of 5 from 12,847 verified reviews. Directly beside it, the same page says the platform has 1,000+ authenticated members. Twelve times more reviews than members. CONSOB ordered the site blocked.

The two numbers are on the same screen
On the left of the home page: five gold stars, 4.9/5, and the line “Based on 12,847 verified reviews”. On the right, inside the sign-up panel headed Get Private Access: 1,000+ Authenticated Members and 800+ Active Participants.
A visitor does not have to leave the page to find the contradiction. Twelve thousand eight hundred and forty-seven people cannot have reviewed a service used by a thousand. Neither figure is sourced, no review platform is named, and not one review is linked.
980 million of what?
The headline above both claims reads “Over 980M+ Global Market Solutions Worldwide”. It is a large number attached to a phrase that means nothing measurable — not assets, not clients, not trades, not revenue.
The text beneath is written the same way: “a refined approach to algorithmic capital management — a self-adaptive trading environment where AI models continuously decode market signals”. It is fluent, technical-sounding and entirely unfalsifiable. Nothing there can be checked, which is the point.

The same fictional number as the Italian network
Oxelvian’s sign-up form asks for a phone number and pre-fills the field with +1 (201) 555-0123 — a number in the North American range reserved for fiction.
That is the identical placeholder Cyanosoft found on Cervo Rendisco, Corona Fondenza and Fior Valorenza, three Italian-language platforms also blacked out by CONSOB. Different language, different brand, same build detail. It is a strong indication of one operator behind several shopfronts.
How to test social proof in thirty seconds
Ask three questions of any review count. Which platform holds the reviews? Can you open them and read them? And is the number consistent with the other numbers on the same page?
Oxelvian fails all three. A review total twelve times its own membership figure is not an exaggeration, it is a number typed into a template by someone who never expected anyone to compare the two boxes.
Our view: Oxelvian’s headline evidence contradicts itself on its own front page, its central claim is an unmeasurable number, and it shares a fictional phone placeholder with three CONSOB-blocked Italian platforms. Do not request access and do not give it your phone number.
