Forex Signals Fibonacci App by Bektas – Review

Forex Signals Fibonacci by Bektas listing flagged by Cyanosoft

Verdict up front: This app frames its signals around Fibonacci retracement levels, which sound technical and therefore credible. Naming a well known indicator is not the same as having a tested method, and there is no record here showing that these signals have worked.

Naming an indicator is not a method

Fibonacci retracement is a standard charting tool. Traders draw levels at fixed proportions of a prior move, commonly around 38 and 62 percent, and watch whether price reacts there. It is taught everywhere, built into every platform and used by many traders.

Because it is real and familiar, it makes effective marketing. A user who has heard of Fibonacci levels reads the app as technically grounded rather than arbitrary.

This app goes further than a bare indicator name. Its listing describes a Fibonacci breakout strategy and its graphics list the timeframes covered, from five minute up to daily, and state that each signal carries an entry, a stop loss and a take profit level. That is more specification than most apps in this category publish. What is still missing is the rule set. Which prior move the levels are drawn from, what confirms a breakout rather than a failed one, how the target is chosen among the levels, when the setup is skipped, and how position size is determined are all unstated. Those rules are what separates a strategy from a label, and two traders given only a Fibonacci breakout heading would produce entirely different signals.

The rating is too thin to mean much

A 4.8 average looks strong until you see it rests on 119 ratings.

At that scale a small number of reviews moves the average substantially, so a handful from friends, incentivised users or the developer’s own network can set it. Small rating bases are unstable in a way that large ones are not, and this one is small.

The rating also measures the wrong thing. It reflects whether the app opens, whether notifications arrive and whether the interface is pleasant. None of that indicates whether the signals were profitable, and users typically rate in the first days, before enough trades have closed to know. A high average on a thin base is not corroboration of anything relevant.

⚠ Verified evidence — checked 25 September 2026

  • Strategy named and timeframes listed, but no rule set or position sizing published
  • 4.8 average rests on only 119 ratings, a base small enough to be set by a handful
  • No company registration or authorisation traced for the developer
  • No backtest or track record published despite a rule based premise
  • No win rate, win to loss ratio or drawdown figure disclosed

What is not published

The developer is listed as Bektas, a personal name rather than a firm. We found no company registration, no address, no professional history and no authorisation to provide investment advice.

There is no track record. No statement of closed trades, no win rate, no average win against average loss and no maximum drawdown. For a method described as rule based, which Fibonacci levels imply, that absence is notable, because a rule based approach can be backtested easily over years of data. Any operator with a genuine rule set would have those results, and publishing them would be the strongest thing they could do.

Nothing has been published, which suggests either that the testing has not been done or that its results did not support the marketing.

How to test it yourself

A rule based approach is one of the few things a retail user can genuinely check, so this app is more testable than most in the category.

Log every signal for three months, including the ones you would have skipped, recording the pair, direction, entry, stop, target and outcome. Then compute the win rate, the average win against the average loss and the largest peak to trough fall. That is the performance statement the app should have provided, and building it yourself costs nothing but patience.

While you do that, try to reconstruct the rules from the signals. If you can work out which move the levels were drawn from and what triggered the entry, you have a method you can evaluate and adjust. If the signals turn out not to follow a consistent rule, the Fibonacci framing is decoration and you have learned the most important thing about the app.

Our view: Naming Fibonacci levels makes an app sound methodical without committing it to any rules you could test. A rule based approach would be easy to backtest, and none has been published. Log the signals yourself for three months before any money is involved.
