Forex Signals Live App – The 90 Percent Win Claim

Forex Signals Live listing on Google Play flagged by Cyanosoft

Verdict up front: This app claims a high winning rate of over 90 on average. The phrasing is vague, no data supports it, and the publisher is a developer account named after the product rather than an identifiable firm. A 90 percent win rate is not a figure any documented trading operation sustains.

Key facts — checked 25 September 2026

Package name: com.forexsignals.fxnewsgroup · Listed developer: Forex Signals BUY and SELL · Installs: 1,000 plus · Headline claim: Winning rate over 90 on average · Supporting data: None published

Over 90 on average, but 90 of what

Read the claim closely. A high winning rate of over 90 on average does not state a unit. Ninety percent of trades? Ninety pips? Ninety trades in some period?

Vagueness of this kind is not careless. A precise claim can be tested and, if false, can be challenged. An imprecise one can be read as whatever the reader hopes while committing the operator to nothing.

Taken as a win rate, which is how most readers will take it, it is not credible. Documented professional trading records do not sustain ninety percent win rates over meaningful samples. Strategies do exist with high win rates, typically by taking many small profits, but they carry correspondingly large occasional losses, which is why win rate alone never describes a strategy. A provider quoting ninety percent and stopping there has omitted the number that would make it interpretable.

A developer name that is just the product

The publisher is listed as Forex Signals BUY and SELL. That is a description of the app, not the name of an entity.

The pattern is worth recognising. A developer account named after its own product provides no identity to check. There is no company to search, no jurisdiction implied, no principals named and nothing to hold accountable. Compare it with a real advisory firm, which has a registered name distinct from its products precisely because the firm carries the liability.

The package identifier includes fxnewsgroup, suggesting a brand. We found no company registration, no address and no authorisation under that name or the developer name. With just over a thousand installs there is also no substantial body of user reviews to consult, so neither the operator nor the results can be examined.

Why win rate claims escalate across this category

Look across forex signal apps and the claimed accuracy figures climb. Seventy percent. Eighty four percent. Ninety percent. Never lose a trade. There is a reason for the escalation.

None of the figures are verified, so none of them cost anything to state. In a market where every competitor advertises a number and no number is checked, the only way to stand out is to quote a higher one. The result is a bidding war in claims, decoupled entirely from results.

That gives you a useful inversion. In this category a higher advertised accuracy is weak evidence of a worse product, because it indicates a willingness to state whatever converts. Genuine providers tend to quote modest figures with caveats, because they are describing something real and real results are not spectacular.

What to do instead

Discount unverified accuracy claims entirely rather than weighing them. Treat any percentage without a supporting statement as absent information, not as a lower estimate of something true.

Ask for a verified track record covering at least six months of closed trades, with the win rate, the average win against the average loss, and the maximum drawdown. Verified means audited or computed by a third party platform from a read only account, not screenshots and not a chat channel full of winners.

Test on demand before funding anything. Record every signal for three months on a demo account, count the losers, and note the longest losing run. And never fund a broker because an app promoted it. Check the broker yourself on your own regulator’s register, typing the name in rather than following any link inside the app.

Our view: A ninety percent win claim with no unit, no data and no identifiable firm behind it is advertising copy, not performance. In this category a higher advertised accuracy usually indicates a less careful operator. Do not fund a trading account on the strength of it.
