Maca Group (maca-group.org) says it has led the way for over 20 years in multi asset, tier 1 liquidity and pioneering direct market access, and serves brokers and traders worldwide. The footer says it is regulated and certified by EFMRC. Switzerland’s FINMA put Maca Group LLC on its warning list, listing addresses in Lancy and Buchs.
Why it pretends to serve brokers
Calling yourself a wholesale liquidity provider makes a retail scam look like serious infrastructure. Victims are told their trades go to the real market through Maca Group. In fact, the prices and the balance live on a platform the operators control.
FINMA first listed Maca Group in early 2026. The site was still online when we checked on 31 October 2026.
Twenty years on a domain from 2025
Maca Group is regulated and certified by EFMRC. Maca Group © 1997.

Checks that fail
- Domain registered 14 April 2025, not 1997.
- No company number anywhere on the site.
- No bank or prime broker named for its liquidity.
- Swiss addresses, but a FINMA warning instead of a licence.
The EFMRC is not a government regulator. Bodies with names like this sell membership certificates to anyone who pays, and scam brokers use them because the letters look official. A real liquidity provider in Switzerland would need FINMA authorisation. Maca Group has a FINMA warning.
Before you trust any certificate
Ask which government agency issued the licence, then open that agency’s own website and search the firm’s name and web address. Membership of a private association, an arbitration body or a so called commission is not a licence. If the only regulator a broker names is one you have never heard of, check whether that body is itself a government authority. The EFMRC is not.
If you already sent money to Maca Group, stop further payments, keep every confirmation and report it to FINMA and your local police.
