Pocket Capital Index (pocketcapitalindex.com) offers trading in forex, cryptocurrencies, commodities and indices with competitive spreads and lightning fast execution. The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation lists it on its Crypto Scam Tracker as a fraudulent trading platform reported by victims.
What victims usually report
Platforms on the DFPI tracker are usually reached through a contact who coaches the victim. The account shows profits, then withdrawals require a tax or a fee. A risk warning at the bottom of the page does not make a platform legitimate. A licence number you can check does.
One template, another name
Pocket Capital Index runs on the same template as Apexedgemarket, a site the UK FCA flagged in October 2026. Same menu, same “innovative trading platform” headline, same risk text, different name in the footer. Operators reuse a site design and swap the brand when one name gets known.
Who reported it
California residents who lost money reported Pocket Capital Index to the DFPI, which added it to its public tracker.
Does Pocket Capital Index have a licence?
No licence or regulator is shown anywhere on the site.

Ask for one number
Before depositing with any trading platform, ask for the licence number and the name of the regulator. Pocket Capital Index shows neither. A platform with a domain registered on 25 February 2026, no company and no regulator is asking you to trust a logo. That is not enough for your savings.
If you were introduced to Pocket Capital Index by someone you met online, stop all transfers and save your chats. People who run these schemes often move victims to a new site when the old one is reported, telling them it is an upgrade. A new name with the same layout is a strong sign you are still dealing with the same people.
Reports to the DFPI also help other victims, since the tracker is public and many people search it before they deposit.
