CFXTRADE is a trading brand using the domain cfxtradepro.com that the UK Financial Conduct Authority has placed on its warning list of unauthorised firms. Consumers dealing with this firm have no access to the Financial Ombudsman or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
The FCA warning explained
On 19 October 2026 the FCA warned that CFXTRADE was providing financial services or products in the UK without its authorisation. Almost all firms offering investments in the UK must be authorised by the FCA. A firm that is not authorised is operating illegally, and money handed to it sits entirely outside the protections that cover legitimate brokers.
Domain and site status
The cfxtradepro.com domain was registered on 12 June 2026. When we reviewed the site it returned an Account Suspended page, meaning the hosting had already been pulled. Suspended infrastructure does not mean the operators have stopped. Many simply relaunch under a new domain while continuing to pressure existing victims for further deposits or fake tax and release fees.
Protecting yourself
Never send additional money to release a frozen balance, as that is a recovery themed second scam. Save all communications and report the firm to the FCA and Action Fraud. Contact your payment provider about a chargeback or recall. Cyanosoft can help you assemble a clear evidence pack for your bank and the authorities.
