Orbis Bank Has Accounts and Transfers but No Licence

Orbis Bank flagged by regulators

Orbis Bank (orbisbank.org) speaks to you in Spanish. “Custodiamos tu patrimonio con integridad y precisión”, it says: we look after your wealth with integrity and precision. It offers savings accounts, current accounts, international transfers and a one month investment fund. The Swiss regulator FINMA put it on its warning list, shared on IOSCO’s international alerts network on 23 October 2026.

Everything a bank needs, except a licence

Read the site from top to bottom and you will not find a company name, a banking licence, a registration number, a street address or a phone number. A real bank cannot open its doors without all five. Orbis Bank offers only a login button, a contact form and a chat bubble.

The “international transfer” trap

Fake banks like this rarely find their own customers. They are usually the place a scammer sends you after another scam. Maybe a romance contact says their money is stuck at Orbis Bank. Maybe a trading site says your profits were moved there. Either way, the next step is a fee: a transfer charge, an anti money laundering check, a tax. Every one of those is a payment to the scammer.

The site even calls its currency service “absolute precision” and says it is 100% digital, so you never need to visit a branch. That is convenient for a bank that does not have one.

If someone sent you to Orbis Bank

  • Stop and do not pay any fee, tax or charge it asks for.
  • Keep the messages that pointed you there.
  • Tell your own bank what happened.
  • Report it to FINMA and to the police where you live.
