Marketing campaigns as an investment

Digital EdgeConnect says it lets you “invest in managed digital marketing portfolios” — paid ads, SEO campaigns and creator deals — and shows a sample dashboard with a “Total Portfolio Value” of $248,930.14. Its entry plan promises “5–7% / Weekly ROI” from a $250 deposit, and a badge on the homepage advertises an “Avg. monthly ROI +8.4%”.

Fixed weekly returns from “ad campaigns” is an unusual product with an old shape: the investor cannot see or check the underlying business, only a balance on a dashboard.

Billions in a year

The page claims “$3.8B Assets Under Management”, “184k+ Active Investors”, “$620M Profits Paid Out” and “Assets insured $1.2B”. The domain was registered on 24 September 2025. A platform that had really raised almost four billion dollars in its first year would be one of the fastest-growing fund managers in the world — and would be registered somewhere. Québec’s regulator says it is not registered there.

What the AMF Québec warning means

The Autorité des marchés financiers lists websites soliciting investors without being registered in Québec. It is a regulator warning, not a court ruling.

What to do if you have dealt with Digital EdgeConnect

  • Stop sending money, including any “fee”, “tax” or “release charge” asked for before a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: payment receipts, wallet addresses, chats, emails and screenshots of your account.
  • Tell your bank or card provider straight away and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the AMF Québec (lautorite.qc.ca) or your own national regulator and to your local police or fraud centre.
  • Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to recover the money for an upfront fee.
