Molen Waardhoph (molenwaardhoph.com) calls itself an “AI-platform voor geautomatiseerde vermogensopbouw”, an AI platform for automated wealth building, written in Dutch for Dutch families. Its domain was registered on 18 October 2026. Ten days later, on 28 October 2026, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) added it to its list of websites to avoid.
Molen Waardhoph: a ten-day-old domain with a windmill on it
The name borrows the Dutch word for windmill, and the homepage leads with a windmill photo. The pitch is aimed at time-poor parents: a section headed “DE REALITEIT VAN DRUKKE OUDERS” (the reality of busy parents) promises to build “gezinsvermogen”, family wealth, while you get on with your life. The slogan is “Vermogensopbouw op basis van data, niet van emotie”: wealth building based on data, not emotion.

The details that do not fit together
The address is a street in the centre of Groningen in the Netherlands. The phone number is not Dutch. It is written in the North American format, +1 followed by ten digits. A firm built for Dutch parents, based in Groningen, with a North American phone line and no company number, is assembled rather than established.
The strategy text describes “een gecontroleerde vorm van dollar-cost averaging”, a controlled form of dollar-cost averaging, refined by a predictive model. Dollar-cost averaging is a plain idea: you buy the same amount at regular intervals. It needs no AI and no stranger to manage it for you. Wrapping it in “predictive” language is there to make a deposit sound safe.
In the Netherlands, anyone offering investment services must be authorised by the AFM. Molen Waardhoph names no regulator, no licence and no legal entity on any page we opened. The only regulator that has said anything about it is ASIC, and that was a warning.

Sites of this kind usually exist to collect a phone number. If you filled in a form, expect a call from an “account manager” who will ask for a first deposit, often around 250 euros, and later for remote access to your computer. Do not install any app they suggest.
